Sorry to say it but neither of these scopes have the magnification to accurately 'parallax' a field target.
You need at least x24 - x40 in order to cut the depth of focus down enough to use.
You can get away with a lower mag. scope, but only if it has a ladder/mil-dot reticle that allows you 'bracket' a target for rangefinding.
In theory bracketing is accurate and fast with no fiddling. In practice however it takes a lot of experience to bracket effectively for field target.
If you're serious about FT then I would suggest that you keep a look out for a Burris signature x8 -x32 which can be found for around £300 secondhand.
Alternatively a look on Ebay will reveal so called Leup 'clones' that have side wheel focussing etc. but sometime questionable optics.
Best of all go to a local FT club and talk to members and look through as many scopes as you can before making your decision.
