Ok here is my  problem, im looking for a good scope for a varmit gun, out of the ones i have picked out here ,what is going to be the best bang  for the buck? will be varmit and target shootin 100 yds to 500 yds  range
bushnell elite 6x24x40 mod 426244a
leatherwood 6.5x20 mod d6520x50
simmons 44 mag mod 801048
weaver classic v24 mod 849411
out of these 4 choices what will be the best scope for the money??

I would go with the Elite scope myself.  Definetly not the Simmons.  I have heard really good things about the Elite scope.  I got to look thru one in the same magnification as you ae looking for and I was really impressed.  Very nice scope for the money.

ditto, i secon the elite. not sure what item number that is, but just to have it incase, i would get the one with the mildot reticle, it will come in handy. not only for range estimation, but compensating, as for the elite doesnt have very much windage, and elivation adjustments.
