I need a durable scope with a good warranty for a RWS 48. Here's what I want.

1" tube
AO down to 15ish yards.
No more than 4x on the lowest magnification something like a 4-12x would be nice but a fixed 4x would work if it would hold up better.

I think that's it, best option in the $150 range?

Thanks.

Hello prodgi ! I'd say for that money you should look for Leapers scopes with "TS" index, like 394AOMLDTS. This will fit you perfectly, I was using one on my RWS 350 Magnum, over 2000 shots and it still works good. I believe it is sold under UTG brand

Regards.

  • I would suggest a Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO with a Map 6 reticle. It can be had for about $150 dollars, has a 1 inch tube and a good warranty. I have been using one on my Beeman R9 for years and it has never lost a zero. It focuses down to 10 yards and is very bright and clear. There are a lot of folks who use these scopes on magnum springers like the RWS 350 with no problems.
