Which is the best and is Burris made in the US? Have a Matchdot I on my Blackhawk Hunter and thanking about putting it on my Single Six and putting a scope on my Hunter and would like you guys help me decide which one. I love the Matchdot but if I go out to 100yrds or more I have trouble with accuracy.  Here is the link for the Burris    http://www.competitor.net/burris-2x-7x-handgun-scopes.html?utm_source=shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shoppingsubmitbymargins%27     they are both about the same cost

thanks

I have a Burris 2x handgun scope mounted on my Ruger Redhawk 7 1/2.  I really like the Burris scope. Quality seems to be very good. I have  sighted it in at 80 yards and its right on.  I bought it as a recommended alternative to Leupold. Don't get me wrong as I love Leupold Scopes. Thats all that I have on my rifles. However I was in a place where every dollar mattered and I wanted to have a scope on my Redhawk before the fast approaching Deer Season last year. It was on sale for at least 100 below a Leupold.  The Burris hasn't disappointed.  I could hit a deer at 100 yards with my Redhawk with open sights however my eyesight has deteriorated to the point where I couldn't pinpoint my shot placement to make a clean, quick kill. I haven't had to shoot past 50 yards but confident that I could if needed.
The road to hell is paved with the bones of men with good intentions.
