Picked up a Pentax Pioneer 3-0x40, 100 yd. parallax. Good for .22lr?

It has been my experience that parallax is more of an issue at closer range than further. If you plan on primarily shooting at 100 with the 22, obviously it won't be a bother. But if shooting at closer range for precision, head placement/cheek-weld might get critical.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I have a 3-9 on my .22, I don't tend to shoot out past 60yards with it so a 2-7x32 is probably better suited. I find at 9x magnification the image is a little blurred being that the target isn't far enough away.

If you explain what sort of range and type of shooting you do with you're .22 you might get better informed answers.

Such a great calibre ;) silencers moderators are quite legal here in NZ and I use almost entirely subsonics.
