I have a stock 10/22 and I am going to get the ATI Marauder stock to make it look like a G36. I was thinking a simple red dot, but I think I want a inexpensive 1-4 to put on it. Thinking of watching the sample list for a leather wood hilux, but I have not seen one in my price point of under $200.
Any other decent examples I am missing out there?

The Leatherwood 14CMR is an excellent low cost, high value scope. I have one on a .375H&H hunting rifle and it is outstanding. I've got the same battery in it I put in in Iraq almost 2 years ago. The IR is not overpowering in low light or full darkness. It has a NV mode that is very useful/useable...
I've looked at a number of 1-4's and the CMR competes with any of them. I have not had an opportunity to review the SS 1-4. Those who have have high praise for it. |
