I have ordered a Competitor in a win 308 with a muzzle brake just under the 15 inch.I have looked through a Leupold 2.5x8x32 and liked it,but don't like the gloss finish.I seen the Burris on your web page and wondered how the 3x12x32 would compair?I also looked on the Burris web page about the balistic plex.Looked complicated on the charts and numbers to adjust scope to indvidual guns.Planning on using gun for up to a possible 400 yard set up(mule deer ,antelope)This is my first hunting hand gun,but have been hunting for over 40 years.Any advice would be helpful,Thank you

The Leupold is the easiest high powered variable to use with its forgiving eye relief and wide field of view. The Burris has a more critical eye relief making it a little bit more difficult to use for hunting. The Ballistic Plex is really quite simple once it gets down to it. There are places that can refinish your scope and or gun to any finish or camo pattern you desire. Check out this site www.LauerWeaponry.com. |
