I've got a Simmons 6x40 AO with 1/2" adjustment Target Turrets. I've had this for a while. It was made in Japan? Model was called Silhouette, I think. Glass is actually pretty good. I've used it on high end .22 rimfire and a .223 Rem. Anyone know anything about this particular scope? Been thinking about sending it down the road but have no idea as to value. Still have the box including the promotional pocket knife that came with it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have two 10x40 AO Simmons Silhouette scopes. They are good scopes and I use them on my air pistol silhouette guns, but I bought them used for $20 each at a gun show. So I dont think they are worth much if anything.
Silhouette shooters have so many good offerings now, and most shooters like large target dots. so the older cheaper scopes are not really desirable anymore. Scopes with a 1/2 MOA dot from Leupold, Weaver and Sightron that will focus down to 10m are the most desirable. Also most silhouette scopes are between 20 and 36 magnification.
What is on the pocket knife?

I'll have to look. I haven't had it out of the box in years.
