Picked it up Friday night and got the scope mounted and everything figured out Saturday, well almost.  Loaded up some ammo Saturday afternoon and finally got to shoot Sunday afternoon. Still haven't figured out how to properly adjust the trigger and right now its a little stiff, breaks like glass but stiff.

Loaded Virgin Lapua brass with CCI large rifle mag primers, 43.5gr Varget, and 175gr AMAXs. These would be what I would fine tune with.  Boresighted with my pet loads from my remington so I could save the other for farther out, at 100yds and fired off 5 rounds to get me on the bull.  The first and second shoots were a figure out touching.  Then I moved on to 200yds being that will be were I zero this gun at. Put up sets of 2 in 3 minute incriments at the target.  Fire one, cycle, fire another.  Wait.  Did this until I had 10 rounds up there.  For my first time behind the rifle and with the trigger still stiff, I put up a group just under an inch.  I was amazed.   For the sake of it I then pulled my other  loads back out I had got onto paper with and put up 10 at the same distance, same results.

SO far I'm lovin' this gun, the 5-20 SS is at home on it.

pictures will follow!  EDIT, smart phone can upload pictures! wahoo!

Getting ready.
The bolt pull is by far the fasted I've used.

I'm telling you guys, if you haven't tried the SS 5-20 you are missing out on some of the best glass out there.  It is a tad over power for a 308 but its only going to stay there until they come out with something in between it and the 3-9.

This target is 10 Shots with the 178gr AMAX's @ 200yds

10 shots with the loads I use in the remington currently @ 200yds

That is a sweet rig, Graham!

Did you adjust zero between the two groups in the pictures?

Sweet! Doesn't seem to be picky does she!

I don't know squat about blasers except they are $$$!

That bolt just pulls straight back or does it lift then pull like most?

It looks like it pulls straight back and the safety switch travels with it!

THe handle itself rotates a little and pulls straight back, one motion.  I  am liking it.

The safety actual pushes forward with plenty of resistance becasue it actually cocks and uncocks the gun.  That is probably my only gripe so far.

It is unbelievable how smooth everything is on this gun.  I love the feel of it too.

I also need another bipod.  This is the only one that I had not on something, Its a harris swivel with 6-9 legs but they are smooth not notched.  Need to look into all my options on what to get.  may just be another like this but with notched legs or may be a different brand altogether.   Trying not to skimp on this gun.

Cool, I got curious and just visited teh  Blaser website.  Watch a video on the R93 Action.  I like the idea of the straight pull onj the bolt but would be worried I might hook or bump the bolt handle and leave the bolt only partially locked.  the button actually cocks thje firing pin.  How hard is that button to push?

ITs not easy to push Bud but its enough resistance it will take time to learn.  I think with time it will be nothing to do at all.

WOOOUUW.
What a nice piece you have thrown your savings in. I love it.
The more you get to play with your Blaser the more happy you get with it. I'm on my third now and they were all great shooters.
The balance , the length - the straight pull - the accurasy - the safety. Just great..Excellent

I just found this post.

I enjoyed this combo in a little bit different caliber, .338LM, I always wanted to try it in the .308.

The other combo I always wanted that I also had in the .338LM that I thought would be super smooth was the TRG.

However nothing looks quite like a bLASER.

About unveiling a Blaser in .338LM...
