I'm going to my first LR clinic. I've got a Bushy 6500 2.5-16x42 mildot or I can borrow a Zeiss 6.5-20x50 Conquest with a Z plex. It's going to max out at 1000 yards. I will be using a 20 moa base to help. Thoughts on the magnification and reticle? Thanks

Why put a picatinny on a perfect steel rail?

One good solution is the optilocks, they can easaly be adjusted to any tilt.

About scope, I would get a Mil-mil, so the new Supersniper 5-20 sounds pretty perfect for what you should do.

If you are going to be dialing dope, use your Bushnell.  It will be better in that regard.  I would use it for the class.  Then when it is over if you need something more, you will know.  At that point you can decided if you want something better or if it is good enough for your needs.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I did not see how horizontal position is adjusted with the optilock in the Tikka website. How do you adjust?
