While I am very flattered by the sentiment, I actually am looking for suggestions.

I do not promise to follow through on all of them, but it does give me a better idea on how to structure subsequent comparisons.

Either way, I have enough stuff to work with for the next three months or so, hence we have time to think about it.

So... NOW is the time to pile on suggestions...

Exactly.
Here are some ground rules.

Now that I am a father my time is even more limited than it was before.  In a proper comparison, I am looking for scopes that are similarly configured with several things being more important than others:
-magnification ranges have to be similar
-objective lens diameters have to be very close (for example, 40mm and 42mm are close enough, but adding a 45mm to that same review is already pushing it)
-reticle locations should match: all FFP or all SFP
-for a proper comparison there should, obviously, be at least two scopes in there, but no more than five.  I have done a fair number of comparisons with more than five scopes and it is exponentially more difficult and time taking.
-idealy price segment should also be the same, but I am not opposed to doing an "across the price ranges" article some time either, comparing similarly configured scopes from different pricing segments.

 That happens to new parents.
I'm sure it happened to you many years ago.

I was no fun to start with.  Parenthood did not improve my apparently overly somber demeanor.  Just ask Bud, he'll tell you.

WOW...

After all that maybe just an executive summary or ramblings on scopes under $750 that left positive impressions or surprised you.

I wouldn't mind an "under dog" or quality and great image where you least expect it type write up.

I am always interested to find a great image in a decent package.

Mag range range magnification above the typical 3-9.

A very simple review of budget minded scopes their strengths and their weaknesses but more importantly why the surprised you.

I think you have touched on this in your reviews before but maybe a conglomeration of your thoughts in the back of your mind on scopes that have surprised you or left you with certain impressions.

As always no tongue and cheek anything you write will be well anticipated and well received.  This type of review would be for the common people that are just looking for a scope to perform without dropping more than a few hundred bucks.

I have a list of recommendations by price and application on my website.  I go through it periodically and it is pretty much a conglomeration of what I like:

I'll probably rework it a little since there is additional price segmentation in the over $2k range, but it is mostly current.

Koshkin,
Being a new Dad is the most important job for you now so we can wait for your write ups.    It's been a whirl wind year for me also. Nowhere near as a whirl wind as a new young'un though.
Shana Tova! My friend.    We can wait.

Shana Tova to you too, sir!

As far as waiting goes, to be honest, I could probably wrap these things up faster, but I REALLY enjoy watching Taz lose his patience...  repeatedly...

All right, I figured it is time to resurrect this old thread for a moment.

I am looking for opinions:
