I'm a map junkie so pretty much like 'em all, but that is pretty neat. I like to use forecasts @ http://www.weather.gov/ because you can click on an area up in the mountains and get a point forecast for it. The conditions are often quite different than they are at the nearest airport or other weather station. I've found that whatever voodoo they do is pretty accurate. For example, the range I shoot at is below a pass up in the mountains and is 1800 feet higher than the airport, which always has about the driest conditions in the area. So I'll move the map over to where the range is and click on it to see if it's windier, colder, etc.

I have used that map when flight planning before. I mainly do my weather and maps through http://www.aviationweather.gov But is probably just habit from flying and flight school days. Still give a ton of info, which I like.

I use the NOAA site(s) as well as a couple of others for the areas I'm hunting (and fishing).

I use the fire weather reports as well. I used to work dispatch with the BLM up here in Montana, and loved call the NOAA for spot forecasts on our fires. Amazing the information you can get.

I like the weather underground wondermap. It has many local private stations reporting live temp and conditions. You can watch the temp change at the edge of a front moving across. Here is the link to NE Oklahoma. Currently it shows a 40 degree change crossing the state. Where Wisconsin has only 10 deg. variance across the entire state. Boring!... and Cold!

Jon,
Go to ESRI website and download the Arc Explorer software it is free and you can get access to street/imagery/topo maps and also print them and make custom maps.
I work as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst and do web mapping applications the software is pretty cool.
