Outstanding... Not cheap is still, comparatively, not expensive.  Most of my really good builds have been under $1600.00.  The .338LM is the exception.  Don't wait so long for more info.  I like the way it looks and definitely like the way it shoots.  "War stories" are not only welcome, but required here...

Which barrel did you use the McGowen or the Remington? I have been looking at having Mel build one for me as well.

I promise to keep you guys posted on the happenings this year. Will make sure the camera is handy. I want to get some video done as well ths summer of steel targets at longer ranges (500+) and see how she handles different elevations and wind conditions. I know that will be some good practice up on ridges at my friends property.

Straight Remington,  20" heavy. Mel was great to work with and i couldn't have been more pleased with the CS and work done. I'd definitely buy another rifle from him again if the need arose.

Is this factory ammo or reloads?
 
If reloads what is the recipe Smile
I have the same rifle platform. Mine likes hot loads like 168 AMAX with 45.8 or Varget
