Hi folks,

Thank you for the warm welcome from my first posting !

I just purchased an older 10x Burris scope from one of the online auction sites.  I am expecting it to arrive in the next week or so.  The seller does not have the original spec sheet on the scope.  There was some question as to it being an IER rather that an EER.  Anybody know anything?

Now my real question.  The scope will be mounted on my T/C 14" 22lr match barrel (removing the little 2 1/2x T/C rail mounted scope).  I have a Weaver one piece base and a set of T/C Weaver style mounting rings.  Should I go ahead and use these or purchase a new set of Burris base & rings?  (I do like the physical look of the Burris over the Weaver style.)
