Bought the new delta point last friday. easy to put on my Glock pistol. looks good up front and can't wait to get it on the range.  only problem i see is with the sight adjustments.  i attempted to eyeball the red dot to just above the front site as my dot is very high.  the adjustment bottomed out and the site is still way high.  not sure if there is going to be a way to drop it down enough. will see and let you know.
Yippee

well the bad news is, the adjustment screws appear to be stripped for sure. can't move them the tool just spins.  this means it has to go back to Leupold factory.  crap.  not a good thing when i just bought it last friday.  not happy Furious

well, i used the deltal point all day today.  can't site it in because the site screws are stripped.  i carried it in a holster on the range all day.  the light did not go out, to much movement.  the instructions say it will turn off in 5 minutes if not moved, automatically will turn back on  with any movement.

this will be a nice piece for competition or saturday afternoon shooting but not for an all day carry.  if you put the cover back on it will shut down but not practical for any other carry. will work well on the AR if just going to the range.

Very Disapointed.

carried the delta point for 8 hrs on the range today.  because the slightest movement turns it on, the dot never shut off for the 8 hrs.  so, unless you cover it (comes with a hood) or don't move with it in your holster, it won't shut off. that will kill the long lasting battery light.

called leupod today to send it back for repair. they said send it. hope they don't charge me after i just paid $450 for it.  i sent them a letter of the issues.

the last thing i noticed was a ghosting problem.  sometimes it is really bad and other times it's workable.  almost always it's there.
