+1 on the review. I think one thing that mitigates the busier look of a mil-dot reticle is that this scope is FFP and, like most FFP scopes I've seen, at low magnification the gradations are hard to see. The reticle is then more like a duplex.
Reaction time is a factor...

This review makes me want this scope even more. I'm really trying to hold out for a higher power variable as I know it's what I want. Yet it's hard as I really want to get a better scope than what I'm currently using. A guy put one of these for sale on another forum I'm on NIB for a great price. I was very tempted, but I had to pass as I really want a 5-20.

Very nice write up and if they come out with a different reticle (med heavy duplex) and lower knobs for hunters like us, I would buy one in a heart beat. I would also like to see an illuminated version too since I hunt 50% of the time at night.
