How affective are these sun shades that SWFA has on there site. I mainly shoot at The range with a .22 and some small game hunt.

The sunshades mainly help when you have to much sun and get bad glare on the picture. It will hinder light from coming in so much. If your range is covered, don't worry with it. It would depend what you mean by small game for hunting. Lots of guys use them on P-dog hunts cause of the open area and the sun, for squirrel or rabbits, i think it wouldn't be needed. You want a bright as an image as you can get.
