Anyone using this scope? I'm looking for owner opinions. I haven't used any Weavers for more than 40 years and just today ordered one frpm competitor to try on my Savage 110 action in 223 Rem. Barrel is a McGowan SS 28" with 1/8 twist. I'll be shooting 69 SMKs, 75 and 80 grain A-Max out to 1000 yards but most shooting will be in the 600 yard range.

Are you referring to Weaver 40/44 line?
It is an OK scope for what it costs. Generally, a high magnification scope for $200 can be hit and miss. I assume you already received it. How is it working out for you? ILya

Sorry, couldn't reply sooner, just got back from Venice La and the fiasco Gulf cleanup. It's a total cluster f--k there. As usual, the right hand hasn't a clue what the left is doing. Of course, " The Great Missiah" Obama hasn't a clue either.
What little I used the scope before leaving for Venice, I gotta say I like it for what it is. Clarity is really good and POI adjustments are spot on. Its a good 100 to 200 yard scope.
