I really like my Leica 900, it's always accurate and easy to read under any light conditions.  I've used it from Alaska to Colorado and a few states in between with no problems.  Actually, I think I've used it for the last 3 years and haven't even replaced the battery yet.....it just keeps going.  I really like how compact it is and the case it comes with works well on your belt.

I had trouble last year ranging a mule deer that was on the horizon at 475 yards, I'm sure it wasn't the range finder's fault that I couldn't hold steady enough for a good reading.  So I just ranged a rock in front of it at 450, a tree behind it at 500 and told my buddy to hold for 475 yards.  Bang, it was stone cold dead with one shot, wouldn't have even attempted it without a range finder.

I can give my Leica credit for clean kills on Caribou, Mule Deer, Elk and a once in a lifetime Shiras Moose in Washington.

You truly can't go wrong with any Leica product, it hurts the pocket book a little more but once you've used them you won't regret the extra dollars.
