I'm looking for someplace to buy some replacement parts for a Bushnell #783011 tripod.
This is the tripod that comes with the Spacemaster spotting scope.
Bushnell want me to send the whole thing back for them to see if they can repair it.
It seems they don't think I can put it back together with new parts.
From the looks of the tripod, it looks like the same design made by other companies.
The part I'm looking for is where the three leggs meet. The main support shaft goes into a hole in that part. There is a locking ring the keeps the scope from turning side to side.
The lock ring threads have broken.
The part is made of plastic. It would seem like it should be made of metal.

I would send it to them, they will probably just give you a new one.

maybe check the parts bins at lowes or home depot for a metal one that will work instead?
