Hello, my name is Rodrigo and I´m writing from Argentina. I have just bougth a .300 Win Mag and need a scope for it. After doing some research I am leaning to the Busnell Elite 4200 (2.5-10x40) or the Nikon Monarch (3-9x40). Mostly of the time I will hunt at low ligth conditions. I will appreciate some opinions about those scopes. Thanks.

The Bushnell Elite 4200 and Nikon Monarch are very similar in the quality you will receive when you purchase either of these quality scopes. One thing that stands out about the Bushnell Elite 4200 is the Rainguard protective cating on the objective and ocular lenses. The scope will not fog up, even if you were to accidenty breathe on the lenses before you take your shot. This will give you confidence while hunting. The Nikon Monarch is also a great scope, that is just a touch better in low light than the Bushnell Elite 4200, but not by much. The Nikon Monarch Is offerd in the Gold series which are in 30mm scope tubes. If you are interested in a scope for hunting in very low light situations then I woul pick the Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5X10X56.

Thanks for your answer.   Have you tested the Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40? I heard it has great optics. Do think it is better than the others scopes?

I have tested the Zeiss Conquest and these are definitely one of the top scopes you can buy. They have great light transmission as well as resoulution and contrast of the image you will be viewing. I would say the Zeiss Conquest is a little better than the Bushnell Elite 4200 or the Nikon Monarch but you will be paying a little more. The Nikon Monarch Gold in 30mm tube is every bit the equal of the Zeiss Conquest line though. Any decision you make on the scopes you have mentioned, you will not be making a bad decision on buying any of these scopes.
