Couple months back I was whining about my Leapers accushot 3-9x44 scope not keeping zero. The gun is an RWS 460mag. Its a heavy springer (recoil wise) but the scope is rated to take it. Every ten or 15 shots it started to drift. So I called leapers and their customer service was very good. They offered to send out a new one no questions asked. Long story short a week later I was back in buisness. I have had this one on zero for 600 shots now and still good. Bravo to their customer service though it was refreshing..

It's good to hear Leapers took care of you. My 6x Bug Buster is still ticking on my 350 RWS.

My 350 is a .22. When the rain stops around here I'll chrono them and get back.
I also picked up a 6-24x50 Vortex that is on special at the top of the page here. I'll chrono my Webley Patriot it is on and do a test comparison. The Leapers was cost effective to begin with. I can say that this Vortex is an absolute steal. I'll post it in the members review section next week. I'll PM you for a heads up. I shoot my airguns at far more vermin and targets than any other gun. The great thing about the better airguns is you can shoot them a lot and not break the bank. Shooting 600 rounds through your 460 was fun and cheap, no doubt. |

Yea, I do loves me an air rifle. 14gr crossman premier 995fps/avg well below factory b/s. Its still moving pretty good though, well enough to take a opossum at 60yds no prob. I am curious to see how you like the new scope. Like you said the leapers was a cheap start. I heard they held zero pretty well and after the 600 for the rifle I was tapped out for time being so that is what I ended up with. I've got a few things for sale on here and the procedes will go toward a better scope. The 460 is extremely accurate and deserves a much better scope. Gun shoots a good variety of ammo but seems to prefer the premiums and the beeman line. The kodiaks shot 907fps average. Ballistic predators for hunting;-)
