Trijicon has reached a new milestone. They are manufacturing their 100,000 th Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG®) scope in April 2005. To commemorate the unit, they are having the TA31F gold plated and it will be on display at their headquarters in Wixom, Michigan. The ACOG has come a long way since it was first introduced in 1987. Although the original TA01 does not use the Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) like all the newer models, it is still one of their most popular scopes. The TA11, introduced in 1992, was the first to use BAC. Since then, the Compact line of ACOG scopes, as well as numerous standard-size ACOG scopes, utilize this technology. Today, they are making more ACOG scopes than ever. So, they are at 100,000 and counting…
Thanks for Waiting Campaign
Trijicon will be running ads in June and July with the message: “Your ACOG is ready”.The ads will make customers aware that ACOGs are now available. With this in mind, we are encouraging all customers to place orders now so they will be in line before the surge in sales for ACOG scopes hits. Trijicon has added a third shift to their production and has the majority of military contracts filled.
