I went to the range today to test out the SS. I only brought my .223 so I spent a lot of time with it. A lot of time I actually spent walking up and down the firing line asking people if they collect their brass Bucky.

I was shooting factory ammo because it was given to me for free so I wanted to stay with the same the entire shooting session and I did not have enough handloads. I did measure all of the components to get a ball park on what I was shooting.

I was shooting factory Winchester 55 gr. FMJ. I pulled the bullet to measure the powder and it was charged with 26.1 grains of a flake powder (Brand ????). I am estimating the bullet was going about 3300 FPS

This is my best 3 shot group at 100 yds.:

This is my best 5 shot group at 200 yds (All the cover up stickers were made because I had to use the target in quadrants because we only get to check our target once every 30-40 mins. so I have to use my targets in quarters to keep me occupied):

Great accuracy for factory FMJ loads!
I don't think I've ever seen that stuff hover around a minute of angle at 200 yards before.
You might want to go back to the store and get a case of that, if they still have it.

How long or how many shots did it take you to get on target with the newly mounted SS?
