I'm sweating this weeks game with the Dawgs.

It would be so like Mark Richt to pull a rabbit out of his hat and win this one. They are NOT as bad a team as we saw in Columbia a few weeks ago.

For sure, but one step at a time. Remember the pre-season picks. The Gators were on hind tit. Apparently we are better than most thought. Time will tell. GO GATORS.

For Ga. to beat Florida Mark Richt would need more hat than he can fit on his head.

Well said, Ric.

Yep, regardless of tomorrow, this year has been a VAST improvement over the last 2 years, and much better than I thought they would be this year.

Yeah, Bama plays State. This is the game to watch for me. State has to shutdown McCarron to stay in it and Bama has to stop the deep ball. I still think our secondary is suspect to going to sleep sometimes.

That was one of the worst games I've seen in years. It showed a total lack of preparation, concentration, dedication and coaching. The Gators were embarrassing and the Dawgs weren't much better. Ranking wise, I'd have to drop the Gators to between 15 and 20. Simply pathetic. Bama would simply crush them were they to play like that against them. I'm PO'd to say the least.  Sad

The lack of discipline for both teams, resulting in all those penalties was appalling, Ric.
That was embarrassing to witness and call myself a "fan".
I mean, I get that it's a heated rivalry and all, but if I were Richt or Muschamp, those boys would be running gassers till their legs fell off for all those ridiculous infractions.

Totally ghetto.....

Just listened to Muschamp's presser afterward. He said a whole lot of nothing... 1).Can't win with 6 turnovers. Well, no chit Jackson. 2). Our coaching was good... we knew what to expect  3). When they stack the box, it's hard to run...ya think? On and on and on. Bullchit.    Loco     They were not well coached nor prepared. They had the typical "we bad" mentality (like the "U") and guess what... they weren't "bad". But they sure were terrible. It's one thing to lose in a hard fought, well played game. This was a pathetic effort / loss...PERIOD. Good luck to the Dawgs.

You hit the nail on the head. Coach Bryant would always give the team credit for a win and take a loss as poor coaching on his part or his staffs part. All the mental mistakes that occurred really are poor preparation by the coaching staff. If you knew what to expect how did that loss happen?

I'd like to know how AJ McCarron is not a front runner for the Heisman? The kids got a better passer rating than most NFL QB's! Tough dude too, I thought for sure he separated his shoulder when he got sacked. I just pray the guy stays healthy, he's got good back ups but I'd like to see him be the second Bama Heisman winner!

Yes, I am a Biased, Opinionated, Ol' Goat!

AJ is a "victim" of Bamas system. I agree that he should be in consideration, Mike. The problem is that
Sabans offensive system calls for the QB to be more of a manager, less of a game changer.

Make sense?

Yes, I agree that the system helps him to a point. So does the beef up front on the line. But why I say what I do is HE still needs to read the Defenses, still needs to do his checks and then hit his receiver or pull it down an go. He's done an outstanding job and you can't stack the box and shutdown the run cause he'll make you pay for it if you do. That's why to me he should be a front runner.

McCarron is a great college QB.  Is it just me, or is there an unusually large number of really good QBs in college ball this year who are racking up some amazing numbers?
