Hey, Im buying a scope for my airgun and I can see you know all about the scopes :) so let me ask you for help.

I have Hatsan MOD85, .177 cal or 4,5mm, I know it is not a very good airgun but what can I do.

I live in Croatia and there I can buy Gamo or Norcania scope. I like 3-9x40 one the best. So I can buy Gamo 3-9x40 WR or Norconia 3-9x40 scope.

The Gamo scope comes with a mount but i dont know is it good for my Hatsan. Last mount got broken beacuse of recoil so I am afraid it will happen again.
And if I buy Norconia i will buy a mount theat has some little screws theat go in to the gun so mount cant move foward and backwords... I sound funny beacuse of my bad english and beacuse i dont know how to explain what i want lol :)))
Let mi be simple, is Gamo 3-9x40 good scope and will I have problems with its mount on my Hatsan MOD85, 1000fps airgun. Im affraid it will move mount beacuse of hard kick when gun fires...

If Gamo is not OK, is Norcania 3-9x40 good scope.

So Gamo vs. Norcania?

I can have Gamo 3-9x40 with mount for 540 HRK (our valute) or Norcania 3-9x40 for 500 HRK + mount with some two screws theat goes in the gun so it cant move faword and backwords, f**k I dont know how to say it... I dont even know how to say it on Croatian :)

I joust want your opinion about these two scopes :)

I have no experience with either scope, though the Gamo's sell over here. One thing for sure, on a spring gun you need a scope stop. I like the idea of the Norcania having the stop integral to the mount. Otherwise you can get the Gamo and install a scope mount stop.

Good luck,
