First off, im not a huge Brad Pitt fan as I am a dude.  Second, I hate Shia Lebouf or whatever his name is.

That said, this was a fantastic movie that I enjoyed 100% and if you havent seen it worth a look.  As a former armor crewman in the Army, I appreciated that they got the general history correct in that our tanks got their ass kicked in WWII, and also that they got a lot of the "slang" terms...willie p and coax to name a couple.  For those that served they will probably recognize it as a more accurate film from that perspective.

Its still hollywood and had a few odd moments, and still a movie, but I really enjoyed it and thought the cast did a fantastic job as much as I hate to admit it.  Just wanted to share my 2 cents in case you were bored this weekend and wanted to rent it.

Thanks for the review. I'd like to check it out. Prolly wait for it to come to our local VCR rental store though.

I haven't been to a movie in over 30 years, prolly won't ever go again, only like real stuff, no f'n novels.

Just me the strange O'l Peddler. IMHO!

I'm very critical when it comes to WWII movies, Fury was accurate much like any of the of Spielberg/Hanks collaborations. Believe it or not Pitt was very good IMHO. Very good movie, the ending was maybe questionable to movie snobs but I'm easily entertained.  Big Smile

I saw Fury on the big screen. I also am no Pitt fan, so I went in with a critical eye. When it was over I had a hard time picking the movie apart and had to say it was as realistic as Hollyweard could make it, and would have to give it a Thunbs Up
