SO this Frog Lube is like Slick 50 of the automotive world?  Bonds to the metal and forms a barrier.

I've always been pleased with my legacy collection of magic elixirs and potions, but you boys are on the verge of convincing me to buy some of that Frog Lube stuff yet!

Wow... in 47 years of life as a Texas redneck, surprisingly, I've never heard that saying before...

I may have to invest in some of this frog lube. the ones I have around here creek and croak so much they keep me up at night. Probably hard for them to jump too.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

It's an AR...
DPMS Recon...
Won't cycle.   I fired about 5 rounds originally, did not zero, just checking accuracy... which was and is not bad.  However, I went off on a test for a while and when I got back, tried to zero.  Had to cycle every round "by hand".  I'm going deep sea fishing soon... may use it for a sinker...
There are some things I know to do, just am disgusted with it... it's brand freakin' new... I should not have to spend hours working on a new rifle just to make it work...

I've never liked ARs... they continue to live down to my expectations...

No lie- there is a peculiar disgusted and sinking bad feeling I get whenever something new is DOA or otherwise doesn't work correctly.
I stayed away from ARs for 30+ years after army, but finally bit into 'em again and have had some fun since.

Maybe the op rod is bent Never mind.

I have an Armalite AR10T that was that way for about the first 200 rounds. Started out having to cycle by hand after a few rounds. Was NOT HAPPY about it. And was told that I needed to keep lubing it frequently and phosphate coating would wear in. As I came closer to 200 rounds it would cycle better. Now it runs flawlessly.
