Just picked up a Frog Lube CLP kit. I'm gonna mop down the old Glock and see if this stuff is up to all the hype.

I recall some of you using it. Super Tool? I can't wait to slather some of this stuff on my AR and on my bolt gun bolts.

So far, so good. My Glock feels "slickery".
Smells like Icy Hot.

Did you heat up the parts prior to application?

Haha.....good one Michael.

Yes Sir, didn't have a hair dryer so I took the Glock apart and set the parts out in the sun.

That's what ya get for living in the most non tactical place on planet earth, Wes. Iowa!

I got it from a gunshop in Durham. The litmus test for me will be the pig, I mean AR

What can I say  Stare when we say tactical the conversation always turns to arrows and musket balls here.

More specifically, does Frog Lube REPLACE all other cleaners? It claims to clean/reduce fouling, which I can believe, but copper too??

I'm using it as a lube only right now, not a cleaner.

You will still need to clean, but it makes cleaning a breeze. The powder residue just wipes right off. No more scrubbing to get all that crap off. Dust will not stick to it near as bad either. And what does blows right off. Since you dont need to oil, it stays much cleaner.

Once you coat your ar upper and carrier a few times you can run them dry with no other lube. It really is impressive stuff.

A guy i know puts it in his lilja barrel and is claiming a 30 fps speed increase.

SO this Frog Lube is like Slick 50 of the automotive world?  Bonds to the metal and forms a barrier.

I've always been pleased with my legacy collection of magic elixirs and potions, but you boys are on the verge of convincing me to buy some of that Frog Lube stuff yet!
