this was in the news paper back home in wyoming its a freak of nature intresting bull elk the game and fish figure it was about 4.5 yrs old.

Freak of nature is right.  I haven't ever seen an elk like that.  Wonder how they would score the one.  Saw one with a twisted rack on one side, but it was just a normal looking antler sticking out to one side.  Guess I would shoot the one in the pic.

That is pretty wierd looking!  I'd shoot it.  Would make a very interesting mount, not to mention provide lots of excellent venison for the freezer.

I don't know if there is a non typical category for Elk, seems there would be though.
