hey there im looking to buy a cabal's big game tactical turret scope for my .243 for in 3x12x40 side focus. does anyone have one of these? or no anyone that does or heard anything about them. one the cabala's customer comments they get 4 out of 5 starts and people say they are right on with the turrets being accurate for bullet drop. im wondering how far the .243 turrets adjust out too>
hope to hear back... thanks guys

Thats a no no . You are not supposed to list competitors here on OT.
That being said they do not make anything themselves better off trying to find out who makes it then find out if it is quality or not.

I owned one cabelas brand scope, not the one you are looking at but a lever evolution scope. It got high praise on their website too. THat was singly the biggest POS scope I have ever owned. I have had $30 tascos that were better scopes than that thing.
But I do realize they have many companies make their optics. But I am still hesitant to recommend many optics with the cabelas name on them because of that experience. |

Chris Farris, SWFA owner and provider of this site, stated in the past that he did not mind discussion in a post of "branded" scopes he did not sell. However, I believe it is inappropriate to use the name of a competitive organization in the topic title. I've changed the title of this post. Please read and adhere to the OT Forum rules.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get a Super Sniper or a Leupold 6x42 competition hunter with target knobs.

well i suppose i am gonna give the boys at CSO one more chance as they gave me a new scope in the 4-16 variety w/tdrm mil-dot and some custom laser work on the sides. That being said I think as soon as this hunk of crap fails (and it will) I will immediately bring it back, get my money back and put that 700 bones toward my newest venture.....Ready for this........USO. I think USO will end my problems....or I hope...anyway thank you everyone who has tried helping me in my transistion from CSO to something worthy of the mantle piece known as the savage 10fp.
