Ken Farrell products are built to "true picatinny specs". My riflesmith/tool & die maker claims that Farrells machining tolerences are the closest that he has ever measured compared to NF, Badger, and Leupold Mark IV. I know one thing for sure, if your Farrell base is properly bedded to the action, and you mount Farrell rings on top of that base, there is NO need to lap the rings. Both of my NF BR scopes have been swapped around to different weapons, (with Farrell rings/base) and there is no hint of any kind of ring marks on either tube. I have absolutely no reason to use anything other than Ken Farrells rings/bases on any of my target rifles.

I havent tried them I usually use Badger Ordnance since they are made in Kansas City.  The first time I walked in the door at GAPrecision I was shocked and said I've never seen that many Badger rings in one place -  then I found out that is where they are made.

Seekins rings and bases would also be a nice addition.

just bought me some rings from these folks.....got some sage advise from a local sniper hee in my county. I was leaning towards the NF rings, but these are a couple ounces lighter and have a smooth construction so as not to snag on me gear...arrh

I have the Ken Farrell 1.0 rail base on my Savage 10fp. Very nice construction and fits to the rifle perfectly.Thunbs Up
I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

What are other peoples opinion about these rings and base combos or rings or bases???

Would SWFA benefit offering these?

I have purchased 5 sets of both and have grown to find they are perfectly machined matched and have the highest respect for them as they far exceed any other "custom" or factory bases and their tolerances are amazing and perfectly concentric to the base they are paired for with the receiver they are matched to.
