They are imported by a company similar to SWFA out of MN or WI.  I have not looked through thier stuff as I have not found any of the locals who stock it.

The parent company has been around for awhile but, the Vortex brand itself is very new.  Their binoculars have been getting rave reviews, many claiming them to be the best optics in their price class. Some even proclaim the top-of-the-line Razor as being competitive with the very best, bar none.

The company's 80mm Vortex Skyline spotting scope  has not fared quite so well in reviews.  It's supposed to be pretty good but, nowhere near the eye-popping quality of the binoculars.  The Nomad spotting scope is considered a very good 60mm budget-class glass.

This company also markets a line of binoculars and spotting scopes under the brand name Stokes and the Sandpiper spotting scope in this line is rumored to be excellent indeed.  As far as I know, the Stokes products share the same warranty as the Vortex line.

Their warranty is indeed good, assuming they are able to capture a strong/long-term presence in the optics market. Things look pretty good for them so far but, it is a very competitive market to be in so; anything can happen.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
