This Springfield is good. This Arms mount is also very good.

never used the arms, but it has one screw on, the springfield has 2 but is still fast and the one I have experience. The screws will work loose on both. the sadlak would be the most rigid thus the slowest, the mount hts. would depend on which ones, but low to med. would work

Blue will work, and certainly decrease the frequency, without "glueing" everything down.

222 is the purple and a good application for small screws.
242 is the blue and is removable, also.
I prefer the 222 for smaller screws as the blue requires a bit more torque to break loose with the requisite "pop" that can give you a good scare with mount screws.

hey heres mine...

sadlak steel, badger .823s and the 10x ssniper

the basset machine mount is getting great rieviews here:

this is THE mia site on the web, fine mature community, well moderated, and some amazing info from long time m1a experts and builders.

the SA mount wouldnt hold on my rifle. some m1a recievers are not to milspec and may never work properly. check out:

sadlak discusses the problem, and thier solution for out of spec recievers. the first thing i did when i decided to scope mine was to read everything on the m1a bbs, and then order sadlaks $5 reciever inspection kit. take the req'd measurements and send them to sadlak. they will tell you if your receivers to spec. u can make ur own decisions for a mount from there

btw, 1500 rnds on the rifle above, and the mount has never shifted

I dont really like the Springfield mount, really big ugly screws.  The problem with the system is that cheekweld is non existant using the original stock.  I have located a better stock solution:   http://www.westtexasarmory.com/jae100.htm
