I have both sl and sll and they are very close optically to me.I really like the looks of the plex reticle in these sightrons compared to others. The only plex i like better is the conquest plex.I dont have a 3200 so i cant say which is better but they should be very close. |

Each has it's own merits, The 3200 has Rainguard coatings that actually work. The S2 may be just a pinch brighter. However, I'd snag a 4200 Elite 3x9 before they're gone and get the best value out there. Edited by martin3175 - January/23/2008 at 07:21 |

Sightron S2 is a better scope than Elite 3200. Better glass, better adjustments and larger adjustment range.

Have to agree with the Dark Lord of Optics.
Have the 3200, 4200 and the SII in comparison, 3200 would finish last in this race. I don't believe the 3200 is Fully Multi Coated, just Multi Coated. The forgivingness of the SII's eye relief is very nice. Just an opinion Rob |

I have one 3200 (2-7x32) and 2 SIIs (1.5-6x42 and 3-9x42 IR). I prefer the Sightrons over the Bushnell. My 0.02...

if you are going to buy an s2 better hurry, cause the place i bought mine for $199 OTD, has raised their price to $275 for a 3x9. i was going to buy from SWFA but they were out of stock and would be 2 week delivery. they look like theirs are still on sale though, if they have any in stock. i need another one, so hopefully they do, and we can do business.
