I bought my Swarovski used. It's a PV 3X12X50 . I have looked a lot on the internet and see the Z6's , PH's, and A line's ...........but never see much about the PV's .

My questions is ..........is the PV better than a PH or are they the same ?

Also.........still kicking around the idea of getting a Zeiss Diavari Victory 3x12x56. I wonder if it would perform much better in low light ? I have heard guys say the Zeiss is 25% better in low light compared to a Swaro. PH...........I wonder if it would be the same compared to my PV ?

PV is a good scope, congratulations on the purchase.

In my opinion, for pure lens quality and light transmission, it doesn't get better than Zeiss' best stuff.  as I haven't put a Z6 side-by-side with a Diavari, I can't say, but I would guess the Diavari would win.

If money is no object of concern and absolute best low-light is the priority, get the Zeiss!

PH and PV is the exact same scope.  It's called PH (for "Professional Hunter") here in the states and PV in Europe.  There's no difference.

It depends on who you ask; there are differences of opinion on this.  I have scopes from both series, but not those particular models.  My Swaro PH is a 6-24X50 and my Zeiss Diavari is a 2.5-10X50, so I can't make a fair comparison.  I would tend to say the Zeiss is a little better in low light, but both are very good in that regard.  There won't be a huge difference.
