Even worse....I'm a low budget scopeaholic. I haunt gun shows, flea markets, ebay and all the outdoor classified's I can find.
This site looks like a treasure trove of information and I'm looking forward to hanging around.
According to my unused scopes sitting around, I prefer Vintage Japanese Tascos and B/L Japan products. I also have a few old American scopes like Redfield, Weaver and Lyman.
I have 2 sons and we actualy use alot of these old scopes.
Any links to Vintage Scope Collecting Information would be welcome.
Thanks, I just wanted to introduce myself.

welcome to the OT -

yeah, this place is addictive - be careful.

if you can swing 200 bucks or a little more - there are some REALLY good choices
out there - but some of these guys/gals can give you really good advice on less
expensive stuff.  if you like vintage tasco's - i have one i could get rid of - it's japanese
and really really clear glass. PM if you are interested. it's a 4x32, i think.

enjoy!!

J

Maybe they can send a few for long term testing? I'm not against using them I just can't afford them right now!
I do own a Vari XIII and a couple other Leupolds.
Thanks for the welcomes!
