Hey, Ive already asked several of you guys your opinions but just thought this would be a fun topic...What rifle and scope combination would you purchase with a $1000 budget, be creative and use your money wisely.

I think I just did this.  I put together a CZ 452 LR in Silhouette with a 3-9 Kahles AH with a TDS recticle and a Harris BRM-S bipod.  Love it...just a blast to shoot.

Ruger 77, your choice of caliber, roughly $549.  Zeiss Conquest $399. Warne rings to replace Ruger factory rings $50.  But if I could I would beg, borrow or steal another $200 and  replace that Ruger with a Remington  model 700.  Bricat

Bushnell Eliet 3200w/ firefly(pistol scope) or 4200 and a Marlin 45/70 Guide gun setup as a scout rifle.

My shorty Ruger M77 Frontier 300 WSM @ $695 (rings included) + my 3x9 Elite 4200 @ $298!........Not a bad combo for a $1000!!................Comparatively speaking, my Ruger/4200 combo is outstanding on the range and in the field! Far better than Hillary Clinton or any other damned liberal democrat that could ever occupy the White House!!!!.....................
