Just bought my son his first pellet rifle today, Daisy Powerline 1000 fps break barrel. This this kicks like a mule!! I mounted a Nikon Prostaff 4x32 Rimfire Classic on there for him and im just curious if a scope of rimfire caliber will stand the test of time on a hard kicker?

Dozens of google hits seems to show this to be okay. For the money I would continue to use it. Being fixed power will certainly help, also. If Nikon is like Leupold or Burris, all of their scopes should take spring gun recoil.
The biggest problem I have found with springers is mounts that don't move.
