Hello All, This is my first post on this forum. I have lurked around for a while and finally joined. There looks to be a lot of knowledgeable posters on this board, so here is my first question:
I'm thinking about getting either a Bushnell Elite 3200 or 4200 in a 3-9X40. Is there enough difference in the scopes to warrant the price difference?
Also does anybody think there will be any sales/price drops after the first of the year? The rain jacket that is available until 12/31/07 is a nice rebate, but I wonder if anything like that will be out there after the 1st?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Welcome to OT!
I doubt you'll get a much better deal later. If you can use it now, get it now. The 4200. (The 3200 is a great scope. The 4200 is a better scope, definately worth the few shekels more, I think.)

4200 Elite 3x9 may be the best value in riflescopes out there, and worth the $$$ |

Quite a difference in the optics between the 4200 and 3200, if you can afford the difference go for the 4200.

I also think the 4200 3X9X40 is a great scope. The free rain coat is an added bonus, and is of very high quality.

Welcome to the forum and yes, the 4200 is an excellent choice and worth the difference. I have the 2.5-10X50MM and I am well pleased. I have made several late evening shots with mine!
