I have just bought a Burris Speed Dot 135 to use hunting. The tube is a 35mm tube and it comes with some aluminum rings to mount it. I have been looking for some better 35mm rings and it is pretty hard to find them. I have found that TPS and Seekins Precision are about the only 2 companies that make them. I am using a weaver style base to mount the Speed Dot and I have a couple of questions. The TPS rings say they are for a picatinny rail and I was wondering if they will work on a weaver mount? What is the difference between a picatinny base and a weaver style base? The Seekins Precision web site says they make a 35mm ring in the weaver style along with their picatinny style. I am fairly new to this forum and any advice you give will be greatly appreciated.

Picatinny rings won’t fit a Weaver rail, but Weaver rings will fit a Picatinny rail.
So, I'd go with the Seekins Weaver rings, Brother.
Good shooting!!

Looks like TPS also makes a 35mm Weaver style ring.
