    Posted: December/09/2007 at 16:53
I am anxious to try this new ammunition.
I watched a video on it and the tips won't flatten out or set off a primer in the cartridge in front of it in my magazine. I've searched high and low. Seems the 30-30 is out but I don't find any .32 Winchester Special Hornady LeverEvolution ammunition on the market. Anyone know if this is still in the works or does anyone know when or where it can be had? Thanks.

.32 WIN? ShockedCencoredLoco  GOOD LUCK  I think that got droped from the gun catalog in the 70's because it was not selling.  You would be lucky to find anything to feed one of those. The sales numbers are not there.

I suppose it is made from the same basic case. I am not sure.

Introduced in the famous Winchester Model 1894 rifle, the .30-30 and the Model 94 went on to become the most popular centerfire rifle and cartridge combination ever invented. They ushered in the age of the small bore, bottleneck sporting rifle cartridge. The .25-35, 7-30 Waters, and .32 Winchester Special, among other cartridges, are based on the .30-30 case.

and an Excerpt from an article
by Mike Venturino
Classic Arms Shooting Editor

Winchester named this new round .30 W.C.F. (Winchester Centerfire) and so marked all its rifles chambered for it. The gun-buying public, however, began calling it .30-30, and that is the name by which it is world famous. Guns for the .25-caliber cartridge were stamped .25-35 W.C.F.

In 1902 Winchester added a fifth offering to the Model 1894's chamberings. It too was introduced as a smokeless powder round and consisted of the same bottlenecked case necked up so as to take a 170-grain .32-caliber bullet. It was named .32 Winchester Special

I took some pictures as I had some empty 30-30's and I have stocked up a bit on .32's and it sure look close to me.

It's a "word replace" gizmo that Chris et. al. uses to keep folks from spamming the forum (rightly so).  He probably meant m i d w a y or someone similar.  They're okay cause they mostly sell reloading stuff.  That's what the competitor probably replaces.

It's probably a porn site, huh?  Chris seems to be pretty clever....

if swfa sold relaoding, ammo, and gun parts, we would have a one stop spot for gun supplies.

Now I see that the CoMpeTiTorS are bumping the release up to 12/31 on both .357 and .32 Win Spl ammo in LeverEvolution. Crap! If anyone finds some actually for sale, I'd appreciate a PM very much. Thanks!
