The Browning is a Bushnell Elite brand labeled.

i would go with the leupold, because the browning hasnt been around a long time, and i dont knwo anyhting about it, but on the other hand if its a elite, it would make a nice scope, especially if it has rainguard coatings, but once again, i have no idea.

The Browning is supposedly made in the same factory as the Elites and uses 4200 glass with out rainguard and put in modified 3200 bodies.  They are excellent scopes and I would buy one over a Leupold 2-7.

Chris, the Browning and the Weaver Grandslam are both listed at $250.00. If the Browning has Elite 4200 glass would it be a better buy than the Grand Slam. Which would you buy?

They are very close in optical quality.  I would go with the Weaver just because I would not want the Browning name on my Remington.  The Grand Slam also uses the patented Micro-Trac adjustments.
