Update to previous thread:  I just called Kimber and they are not making Left hand rifles.  So, I guess I'm back to looking at a Savage in 7mm-08.

If anyone hears of a new offering in .260 in left hand, please pass it along.

Thanks

take em!

I just got off the phone with BerretaUSA and they said they are not importing a .260 left hand.  What info did you have Dolph?

I had just checked the Tikka website and saw that they manufactured the T3 in a left handed model chambered for the .260 Remington.  It seems odd that they would not import that caliber.  I will do some checking, but I bet I can find something in a left handed version of good quality in that caliber.  It will be my challenge.

I don't know why I have such a hard on for the .260........ I can find a 7mm-08 or .308 from Savage.  It just seems like a great caliber for a kid to use on deer.  I do like the Tikka and the price ther're at.

Tip,

Since you're willing to ante up for a Kimber, you might also talk to Cooper and see if they'd be willing to build you a LH M52 in .260.  They will do special requests and they do make some LH rifles, or at least they did.  A buddy of mine has a LH M21.  They do catalog .260 in their M22, but it's a single shot solid bottom action.

Tip69, the other thing you might want to consider is all the other 6.5 caliber rifles as that will expand your chances of finding a lh model, but retain the basic caliber.

Here are several Coopers in the 6.5-284 caliber and LH model on www.gunsamerica.com.  A little expensive, but in the 6.5 caliber.

Go to page 2.

Good point about the 6.5-284, Dolphin.
