I have been looking at these for the last little while for and I have been thinking about getting one. This looks to me to be a very durable scope on paper... 30mm tube, steel tube, fixed power. Any firsthand experiences? |

I had one and liked it. Only thing is you have to wipe it down. Good quality bright optic.

Urimaginaryfrnd, When you say 'Wipe it down' I am not sure I follow your meaning. Do you mean the steel tube requires more care? And... what do you mean... 'had' one.... if you liked it so much what happened to it? |

army eod has one that he swears by. i think its in the need scope for 700 ltr in that tactical area. he said he put his ior 6x42 up against a 10x42 super sniper. i just got an ior 10x42 and im really happy with it.

I poked around the board and came across this: http://www.opticstalk.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=904&PN=1 It seems folk's opinions of IOR have improved some since then. Has IOR gotten better or are they just more accepted these days? |

IOR has gotten better and their CS has defiantly improved too.
I used to have "reservations" about IOR's, as the thread you linked revealed..... |

Yep...love that scope. I have it on my FN PBR. No need for anything else. It resolves crystal clear as far as you can see. Easy to see 1000 yards with this scope. And it is the best glass I have. It is a screaming bargain.
