What are the differences between the new monarch models and the old models besides the 30mm vs the 1" tube?

The Tactical, Gold and new X models that replaced the Tactical, are 30mm tubers.

The standard Monarchs have always been, and still are 1"ers, Johnny.

The power range of some models changed also.

I guess I got kind of discombobulated after reading about the 1" and 30mm tubes on this thread...

Side focus was also added on some models and they got rid of the AO's.
