Decided on a Super Sniper to learn the mil-dot system. I have 2 questions

1. What height rings ? Probably will go with Badger

2. How long does it take to learn? I know it's a very subjective question, but consideri a couple afternoons a week practice,no coach, using all the info available here.

and 1 more,

3.Does this sound like an o.k. combination to the experienced?

whats a HK SL8???? never heard of it, i dont pay attention to HK, but medium mounts will work on most guns, but for proper cheek weld, you might need highs.

cory

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns, I'll be only one of millions!!!

If the front sights are removable...... mediums will get you going. If they're not you may have to get highs.

A Mil dot master and slide rule is a must. It will teach you how to use the mil dot's and also comes with a slide rule to cut back on time and calculations. The reticle can be learned and mastered by anyone who is willing to learn it. It's really up to the operator on how long it takes to learn.
