Was curious if anyone has tried out the shoulder strap pad from Limbsaver for recoil reduction?  I know they make good stock fittings, but I hadn't seen this before.  To the extent it works, the attractiveness obviously is you only need one for multiple guns.

Thanks.

Tried one of those a while ago.  They work.  The downside is that it increases the pull on your stock, which isn't very comforatable for me (shorter arms).   Also, you are having to strain you neck forward to get the full view of the scope. I didn't like that.  Unless you plan on doing only bench shooting where you can move the scope back, I would recommend getting buttpads for the stock. Nice concept, just doesn't work for me.

For range use only, I bought the Limbsaver,,,"slip on",,,recoil pad......On in 3 seconds, off in 2 seconds! No screws, no grind to fit, my scope is set just right; no neck stretching, not too close to the eye either! If you have a longer pull to begin with, then re-position the scope towards you a little. Maybe a half inch if your scope will allow it.
