I just got a new AR-10(t) and I want a decent scope to throw on it.  I am somewhat limited for budget so it apears as though the super sniper would fill my need, without emptying my pockets.  My question is I found a "super sniper" on ebay, with adjustable power 10-40.  Is this real or some kind of knock off.

Heres the Link

That is a chicom crap knockoff.

Besides, there is no such thing as a variable Super Sniper scope yet.

I do not think you need a 10-40x scope on anything other than a benchrest gun anyway.

What is your budget, and what is your intended use for the gun?

Wow, that has to be the worst knock-off and product description I've ever seen.

Either some American 13-year old wrote it to include every Asian stereotype on the planet, or a Chinaman wrote it to include every Asian stereotype on the planet.

Either way, if you are thinking of buying this; flush the money down the toilet and kick yourself in the balls - it'll save you the freight $ and be allot less painful.

or buy somthing taht doesn't require you to deposit money in a bank in China!

ok now....gimmie a break....I didnt buy it, and I figured it was a fake, thats why I asked.

What should I get, the 10 or 20X power.  I will be doing mostly if not all target shooting from an ar10(t) from 200+ yds.  I've read the image is not as clear on the 20X power

Go with a 10x42.

A fixed magnification 20x scope would have very limited utility.

Nope, best bang for the buck.

There are much better scopes, but you'll pay multiples of the SS price to get them.

Now I am all sorts of confused.  I ran up to the local shop, to see what they had in stock for scopes.  No super snipers as I expected.  The shop owner did recommend a Bushnell 3200 10X40  Fixed Scope.   He said that the Bushnell was as good or better than the super sniper.  Does any one out there have some hands on experience with both that can give me an answer?  Is the super sniper worth the extra $100????

Yes, the Super Sniper is worth the extra money.

The store owner was trying to sell you something that he has in stock (or he does not know much about scopes).

You can't buy an actual Super Sniper anywhere but SWFA (new, that is.)

The 3200 is a decent scope, 4300 is better; and yes, the super sniper is worth every penny of the extra $100 - and then some!

Get the real thing, not the fake, not the 3200, just Cowboy Up and buy the super sniper - you will not regret it.  if you like, buy the ssuper sniper and, before you mount it, take it back up to the gun store and look at yours next to the 3200.  if you don't see the extra $100, call Chis and send it back.  But you'll see the extra $100.

If you want a variable power this is a good scope for the price and yes there are better but not at this price and if you find it elsewhere for less SWFA has a 110 % price match
