I am not really a beer drinker, but when I do drink beer, it is typically Guinness, or something similarly dark and heavy.

Don't drink beer anymore, but when I did, my favorite was Tecate with a little salt and lime.

tecate is working man beer thats pretty good stuff. guiness i have only had once it was the extra draught the stuff that looks like used motor oil when you pour it into a glass i took one taste and that was enough but that was years ago and my taste has changed i used to only drink light beers now its mostly darker brew for me

that's too tough to call - the following are EQUALLY my favorites depending on mood.

budweiser (aka big red, bud deisel, etc.)

guinness (draught in a pub)

tecate (can w/ lime / chips and salsa)

i drink more budweiser than anything, classic beer.

honorable mention (coors original (yeah yeah), hefeweisen (assorted)

After much thought and alot of taste testing i'm going with

( killegens irish red )

But then coors light isn't a bad taste ether.

Atwater Brewing Maibock is my favorite.

Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA and Schell's Alt are really good, too. The less I drink in volume these days, the more I find myself drinking beers I can eat with a fork.

A nice cold Bud always works no matter where I'm at.

Budvar, the real Budweiser.  And no, it doesn't taste anything like the crap Budweiser made in this country.  You can sometimes find it in the U.S. under the label of CZechvar.  I also like Kilkini's.  I have never found it domestically.  The best domestic beer in Shiner Bock.

EASY ranburr...........i think budweiser is a fine beer.  i have had both, there are distinctly different, but both great IMO.

I just read where Budvar and Budweiser have kissed and made up and it's going to be distributed stateside under that name. whoo hoo.

shiner bock is excellent, but shiner hefeweisen is even better.  i like a good wheat beer.

stella is quite smooth. definitely on draft..............

North Carolina has started crafting some fine beers in the past 10 or so.  - like highland and rogue.

if you like a good microbrew - they have an extensive offering.

Guiness

Draught in a irish pub in Ireland is best.

It's definitely not nearly as good somewhere else as Guiness don't travel by water.

When not in Ireland I prefer guiness on bottles, they taste more bitter but are still great.

Regards Technika

I have to disagree with you about Budweiser.  Good to here about Budvar.  Pretty much all Shiner products are good.  The best Shiner beer they ever made (Spoetzl's Select) was discontinued years ago.  By the way, I was drinking Shiner when we had to drive there to get it.  It certainly has taken off after the Corona people took over.

it IS cheap beer - that's why i drink so much of it

my wife is expensive, so i have to cut corners elsewhere. heheheh.

agree to disagree - it's fine by me.   Drinking budweiser is part of how i grew up.

it's the country thing to do down here in SC. and i am A ok w/ that.
